Mission Statement
The mission of the Clinton County Emergency Management Agency is to coordinate, maintain and administer emergency management and homeland security practices in Clinton County. Through education in the areas of Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, Recovery, Detection, Prevention, and Protection, our goal is to reduce the impact of hazards that may affect our county.The goal of the Clinton County Emergency Management Agency is to educate the Citizens of Clinton County about their ongoing role in preparing for emergencies through education, community outreach and training. Through creating an increased emphasis on disaster preparedness, the Clinton County Emergency Management Agency looks forward to reinforcing interdepartmental communications and cooperation throughout our County. By creating a community culture of preparedness and fostering partnerships with local public and private groups and businesses, it is our goal that Clinton County will work as community, with neighbor helping neighbor, when a disaster strikes.
24-Hour Emergency Contact Number
An Emergency Management on-call personnel is available to assist either on the phone or in person with the notification of response agencies, relevant scene support, coordination with local government units, and can provide information on response and recovery resources. The on-call person can be reached by calling the non-emergency phone number of the Communication Center, 563-242-9211 ext. 4532.
