Notice to Bidders:
Sealed Competitive quotes will be received at the Clinton County Conservation Board Grand Mound Office, 2308 255th St, P.O. Box 68, Grand Mound, 52751. Until 6:00 PM on October 22th, 2024 for a project of interior remodeling of the Eden Valley Nature Center, located at 1415 50th Ave, Baldwin, IA 52207. The remodeling shall include demolition of the current interior, including walls ceiling, flooring, and electrical systems, replacing the ceiling, electrical systems, lighting, and applying a polyuria floor to match the community room. All bidders will be required to meet with the Conservation Director at the Eden Valley Nature Center prior to submitting a quote.
Sealed Quotes will be opened at 6:05 October 22nd, 2024, and will be acted upon by the Clinton County Conservation Board at the Grand Mound Conservation Office, or at a later time or place to be decided. Bid proposal documents may be obtained at the Grand Mound Conservation Office at the above address. Clinton County will issue a sales tax exemption certificate to the contractor for the purchase of the materials to be used on this project.
Required Completion Date: March 1st, 2025
Liquidate Damages - $50.00 per day
An acceptable Performance Bond and Certificate of Insurance must be submitted in the amount of the contract to the County within 30 days of approval of awarding the contract. Failure to do so will result in sufficient cause for the denial of the award.
