NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received at the Clinton County Engineer’s Office, 1900 N. 3rd Street, Clinton, Iowa 52732, until 10:00 a.m., March 18, 2025 for bridge projects consisting of furnishing the following treated #2 Douglas fir bridge plank: 88 each - 3”x12”x20’, 216 each - 3”x12”x18’, 132 each - 3”x12”x16’, and 77 each – 3”x3”x12’. All material is to be treated to meet IDOT standards. The material is to be delivered to 104 3rd Avenue, DeWitt, IA 52742. Bid proposals will be opened at 10:05 a.m. March 18, 2025, and acted upon by the Clinton County Board of Supervisors at the regular scheduled meeting, or at such later time and place as then may be decided. Bid Proposal documents can be obtained at the Clinton County Engineer's Office at 1900 N 3rd Street Clinton, IA 52732. Clinton County will issue a sales tax exemption certificate and letter to the contractor for the purchase of the materials to be used on the project.
Required Delivery Date- May 15, 2025
Liquidated Damages- $50.00 per day
