The Community Supports Department is the county department that provides social services to residents of Clinton County. In this Department, there are services for people with disabilities and also services for people without disabilities. These programs and offices are located in the County Administration Building. A section of this Department is Mental Health Department known as the Eastern Iowa Mental Health and Disabilities Services Region.
Eastern Iowa Region (EI Region) is made up of 5 counties that work together to develop support for people looking for help with mental health or developmental disabilities including assessment, referral and coordination services for people with mental health needs and disabilities. Each county has a service coordinator, known as a Coordinator of Disability services, that will help you find and apply for programs and services to reach your goals. The EI MHDS Region is also able to pay for services for eligible individuals.
