Weather Radio Giveaway

Terms and Conditions for Clinton County Weather Radio Giveaway:

Clinton County Emergency Management Agency is offering residents of Clinton County the opportunity to receive a free weather radio upon the completion (and sharing) of a Family Emergency Plan. This program is limited to current residents of Clinton County, Iowa. To be eligible for a free weather radio, resident must obtain and complete a family emergency plan, using templates provided by Clinton County Emergency Management. Printed templates are available at public outreach events where Clinton County EMA is present or at locations which will be announced, or copies of the template can be obtained at the link below . To receive the weather radio, a completed family emergency plan must be presented, in person, by head of household or designee, at public outreach events where Clinton County EMA is present or at locations which will be announced:

  1. Program limits one free weather radio per household, residence, address, family and/or dwelling.
  2. There are a limited number of weather radios available; first come, first served.
  3. Once supply of weather radios is exhausted, it is unknown whether this program will be funded in future years.
  4. Clinton County Emergency Management and Clinton County do not guarantee performance or alerting and take no liability if weather radio does not alert as resident expects and offer no warranty on weather radio.
  5. Clinton County Emergency Management will provide weather radio, power cord and batteries at no charge to resident completing plan; further, Clinton County Emergency Management will have no further warranty and will provide no further accessories/batteries for the weather radio.
  6. Weather radios cannot be shipped; item must be picked up at the above the above-mentioned events and locations to be announced.
  7. Simply requesting a family emergency plan template does not guarantee a free weather radio; completed template is required to receive radio.
  8. Family Emergency Plans must be presented in person, plans cannot be presented in electronic format.
  9. If household, or household member has been the recipient of a weather radio from Clinton County Emergency Management agency in the past, said entity is not eligible for a weather radio during this giveaway.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Program begins on October 5, 2024 and is subject to change at any time.
