The Original Field Notes for the Original Government Survey of Clinton County are not currently scanned, but are available for viewing in the Auditor’s Plat Room in the Clinton County Administration Building, 1900 N 3rd St., Clinton, IA. The book has been rebound and is labeled “Land Surveys / Original Section Corner Book.” An index of the field notes is available below, and a copy of the index is taped inside the cover of the book itself.
