Prescription Discount Card

Free enrollment for Clinton County residents

The Clinton County Discount Card Program, in partnership with the National Association of Counties (NACo), can help county residents save money on their prescriptions that are not covered by insurance. Any Clinton County resident who is uninsured or underinsured can participate in the program. Even if you have insurance for prescription drugs, you may still be able to benefit from the program, since it may save you money on your prescriptions that your existing plan doesn’t cover.

Savings

Save an average of 20% off the pharmacy’s price on all prescriptions and when purchasing a 3-month supply through the mail service, you can save an average of 50% on selected generics.

Easy to Use

Just present your card at any of the participating pharmacies with your prescribed prescription. There are more than 57,000 retail pharmacies nationwide that accept the card, including most chain pharmacies and many independents.

Where to get a card

Prescription discount cards can be picked up during the hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday at Community Assistance located at the County Administration Building. For the elderly and home-bound, please call 563-244-0575 to request a card and one will be mailed to you.
