Seasonal Conservation Technician
Clinton County Conservation is hiring a Seasonal Conservation Technicians for the 2025 season
Seasonal position under the supervision of the Park Supervisor, assists with the management, development, and maintenance of county parks and wildlife areas.
Positions are based out of Rock Creek Campground and Marina near Camanche, IA or Eden Valley Park and Preserve near Baldwin, IA. Expected start date is April/May.
Essential Job Duties
- Operating lawn mowers, weed eaters and other hand tools to maintain a clean, safe park grounds.
- Clean cabins, restrooms and other park facilities.
- Serve as a point of information for park visitors.
- Assist full-time staff with park maintenance and development projects.
- Will work a nonstandard work week.
Minimum Qualifications Requirements - (Education and Experience):
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be over 18 years of age
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Must possess a valid driver's license
