County VA Van Rides to Iowa City and Davenport

Free transportation is offered Iowa City and Davenport VA Medical Centers

Clinton County Veterans can ride a DAV Transportation Van to Iowa City and Davenport VA Medical Centers for scheduled appointments. Certain guidelines and rules apply. The van is staffed by a network of volunteer drivers. You must contact the office well in advance to reserve a seat. There are times the van is full or a driver is unavailable.

Volunteer To Drive

We are always looking for drivers. There are some requirements to being qualified to drive for the VA. Iowa City VA Voluntary Service Department conducts the training, which takes about an hour during a trip with a local driver to Iowa City.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer driver or wish to know more about the service please contact our office.
